Making a Purchase

To make a purchase could not be any easier.  Just browse the shopping pages of our web site and click on "add to cart" any items that you wish to purchase. This will put the item into the shopping cart.

After you have made your selection, click on "see cart" or  "shopping cart" from the top menu to see your selected items.

If the details are correct, click on "check out now" and you will then be asked a few questions that we need, to be able to compile your order.

Payment

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Solo and American Express cards.
Payment must be received, before the items that you have ordered are shipped.

• If you wish to pay by credit card, please do not send your card details by e-mail,as this is not a secure method. but use the link to a secure server,
• If you do wish to pay by card direct for your order, but do not wish to pay via PayPal,
  please mention on order form and we will contact you, on the telephone number that you supplied with your order and ask for your card details or you may send us your card details by phone on (01624) 661370 where Sharon or Tony will be happy to assist.
• If you would prefer to pay by personal cheque, please make payable to HOBBIES and CRAFTS and be in £'s Stirling. Then post to the following address :-
  39 Bucks Road, Douglas, Isle of Man, IM1 3DE.
• You can also pick up the items from the shop.  We will contact you when the items are available for collection on the number that you supplied with your order.

Back Orders

We will endeavour to supply the items ordered via the shopping cart, but sometimes items may be out of stock, as we only hold limited stock quantities.

• If any item is out of stock, we can back order it for you.  We will e-mail you with the option:- to either cancel your order, or just the out of stock item.

Shipping

Your order is important to us and will be processed as quickly as possible. Please allow up to 18 working days for your order to be processed

• The costs for postage is as follows :-
  • the postage is calculated on the weight of your order and is charged acordingly, to cover postage from the Isle of Man
  • an additional charge** of £0.70 pence per order is included for recorded delivery..

• Non UK Destinations
• For deliveries to other Countries outside the UK, then International Parcel Rates will apply. 
  We are happy to ship to other destinations and we will e-mail you with a quote for the shipping charges and the option to continue with  your order or cancel the order.

** Additional Cost
We use the Manx Post Office for the despatch of goods and all shipments must be signed for,
on arrival at the delivery address that you supplied.

Value Added Tax

All items on the shopping pages include VAT @ 17.5%

Credit Card Security

All card details are processed through our Streamline terminal and are treated with the utmost confidentiality.

Your Details

The personal details that you send to us are treated with the utmost confidentiality and are never passed on to any third parties.
Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.

Cancellations and Returns Policy

A customer can cancel their order within seven days (starting the day after the goods were received) or before the order is shipped, by contacting us by phone or e-mail. All goods must be returned unopened or unused. Customers will be responsible for all postal and packing charges for the returned goods.  A refund, excluding the original shipping cost, will be made within 30 days of the cancellation, provided the goods have been received by us.

Goods may be returned for  refund or exchange if damaged. Goods returned for other reasons may be subject to a handling charge.
